Founded by Adam Haas in 2021, The Hobart Gardeners was born from a seemingly unreasonable idea: getting your garden looked after should be simple. You should be able to trust the people working at your property, rely on them to turn up when expected, know the work will be done properly and hear back when you get in touch.
What began with Adam working on his own quickly grew as more Hobart customers saw the value in the approach. As demand increased beyond what one person could manage, The Hobart Gardeners developed into the small team it is today.
From the beginning, the focus has been simple: do good work, communicate clearly and provide a professional service people can rely on.
Today, we continue to build the business around those same principles, developing long-term relationships with customers who want their gardens properly looked after.
Better Service MeansMore Than Good Garden Work
Doing a good job in the garden is only part of providing a good service.
We believe customers should know when we're coming, be kept informed if something changes and be able to get in touch when they need to. Quotes should be clear, work should be carried out properly and properties should be left neat when we're finished.
They're simple things, but they're the standards we've built The Hobart Gardeners around.
OrganicWeed Control
We take a more environmentally conscious approach to weed control, combining hand weeding with certified organic herbicide where appropriate.
We don't use glyphosate (commonly known as Roundup) or conventional herbicides, helping us take greater care around gardens and areas shared by families, pets and local wildlife.

Adam and his team did a fantastic job of getting the front and back garden at our house in pristine condition ahead of a house sale. Adam delivered fantastic service and was always available and considerate. Because of his work, the garden looked amazing and that showed in the subsequent real estate photos. Those first impressions on the real-estate websites made all the difference with the amount of interest we received on our house.

Adam was absolutely so helpful!
He made the exception to come all the way to Taroona and cleaned up a big amount of brunches.
He was quick and effective and very punctual too.
We will definitely call him again. We highly recommend his services.
